Now women can register complaints online in UP

Women in Uttar Pradesh can now enrol their complaints to the police without visiting a police station. Recently, the state government launched a portal for online enrolment of complaints related to crime against women  This is the first time that such a service has been initiated.

“We will also make an effort to make the police force more sensitive and responsible while dealing with such cases,” said Principal Home Secretary,  Anil Kumar Gupta, while addressing the media. He informed that so far 85 complaints had been lodged in this connection and the facility is being provided through the official UP Police Website, https://uppolice.gov.in/.
