eGovernance should reach each and every citizen

Indore: A national level seminar on “eGovernance: Issues and challenges” was organized at university teaching department campus of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).

“All efforts should be made to make e-governance available to common man. The state government has used it in its various departments, which has led to three time rise in income of the departments,” said state industries minister, Kailash Vijayvargiya. He was speaking as chief guest at the event.


Vijayvargiya said if we want to lead our nation and society then we have to take help of eGovernance. “Machines will replace humans,” he said.

Speaking on this occasion, vice chancellor of DAVV, DP Singh said, “We are ahead of other countries in the field of technology and e-governance. We have to take the help of eGovernance to make educational institutes competitive.” Vineeta Dixit, principal consultant of information and technology ministry briefed audience about expansion of eGovernance in past two decades. She said, “eGovernance should reach each and every citizen.”
