e-Governance programme held in Allahabad

A programme on e-Governance was held in Allahabad on Thursday. District magistrate Raj Shekhar gave information on state portal programme and asked officers to implement it.


Stressing on the importance of state portal programme, Amit Jaiswal said the measures need to be taken for solving the problems arising in implementing the programme. He said with the use of information technology, benefits of the various welfare programmes being pursued by the state government are being provided to people.

To provide basic services and single delivery system to people, basic infrastructure of State Wide Area network (SWAN), State Data Centre (SDC) and State Service Delivery Gateway (SSDG) are being prepared.
