The West Bengal Government may give out ‘Samajik Mukti’ cards to 30 lakh workers of the unorganized sector by the month of August.
To be made on the lines of a smart card, Samajik Mukti cards would ensure social benefits such as hospitalization, accidental death cover, pension and children’s education to workers in the unorganized sector.
