3i Infotech Consumer Services in partnership with Karvy Group is planning to extend the reach of eMudhra Digital Signature Certificates in the country.
As per the contract Karvy Data Management Services Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Karvy Stock Broking Ltd, will be one of their Registration Authorities and will promote, sell and distribute eMudhra digital signature certificates. eMudhra Digital Signatures ( www.e-mudhra.com) was launched in November 2008 for e-filing of IT returns, eTenders, eTicketing, MCA21 etc. Taking it forward, the Web site is expected to be used for online banking, e-commerce and online trading.
