Rural IT Training For Youth of Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu government has launched a Statewide Rural IT Finishing School programme to help students who had completed Standard X and above to become BPO employees.

Tamil Nadu government has launched a Statewide Rural IT Finishing School programme to help students who had completed Standard X and above to become BPO employees. Under this programme, 216 hours of compulsory training will be given to all students. The three-month course is being offered free of cost.

Furthermore, in association with the Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu, Nasscom, FOSTeRA and Sun iTech, the Tamil Nadu Government has proposed to set up at least one such finishing school in each district to train more than 7,000 students over the next six months.
