Himachal Pradesh government has recently launched an internet based grievance redressal portal (http://admis.hp.nic.in/esamadhan/), named 'e-Samadhan'. This system would not only enable one to register a complaint with the concerned official but would also provide the chief minister's office and other concerned officers downstream an overview for checking whether timely action is taken upon it or not. Access for lodging a complaint can be done from any internet based computer and where computers have not penetrated then one can use that Sugham Centre, which are being set up in each panchayat for offering various kind of internet enabled services.

In order to take care of 'E-Samadhan', the IT based grievance redressal program, each department has appointed a nodal officer down to the tehsil level who would oversee that all complaints received are timely dealt with.
