Under e-government project, the Sindh Health Department will soon be fully computerised, with the added benefit of inter-linkage existing between all the sections of the department.
This would help maintain the hospital's complete record including salaries, employees and their leave account, posting, abstentions, entries of patients, record of medicines and supplies besides greatly reliving from paper work and enforcing transparency. This would also help check financial and administrative malpractices and establish good governance. With the e-system, it would become possible to provide better and speedy facilities to general public besides transparency in procurement and purchases.
