Due Process, e-Governance Save Bayelsa N7bn

Former Governor Timipre Sylva of Bayelsa State, Nigeria stated his administration saved about N7billion through the establishment of Due Process and e-Governance Bureau. The state is now growing culture of transparency and accountability following the inauguration of the Bayelsa State Expenditure and Income Transparency Initiative (BEITI).

The state is now growing culture of transparency and accountability following the inauguration of the Bayelsa State Expenditure and Income Transparency Initiative (BEITI).

With the establishment of e-Governance Bureau, transparency and accountability in Bayelsa State have been enhanced through the institution of the Due Process and e-Governance Bureau savings more than N7billion naira in less than eleven months as governor. The former governor admitted that crime has been reduced to a very low level that can be controlled by normal policing activities.
