Net facilities for bill payment in Mizoram, India

The Power Department of Mizoram (India) has introduced a new service to pay electric bills through Internet within Aizawl.

Now, people in the state capital pay their bills through the Internet for which they should have an account and Internet banking facilities of State Bank of India and Axis Bank. The state power department has signed an agreement with the Mumbai based IndiaIdeas.com Private Limited (Bill Desk), which has already many agreements with several banks having core banking facility in the country.
