Rhode Island government has launched an enhanced official website RI.gov (http://www.RI.gov), which provides more than 170 online services with over 4,200 Web pages designed with a common look.
Users can take all information about Rhode Island like events and services from the RI.gov website. They can sign-up for the state agency news and events, which can be delivered to their e-mail inboxes. Users can also track important information and quickly add events on their iGoogle, My Yahoo, Outlook or iCal using RI.gov Calendars. The website also provides information like bike paths, schools, police stations, medical facilities, libraries and historic points from its through Rhode Island Maps (http://www.ri.gov/maps). Rhode Island Maps provides a variety of services in a neighborhood and offers a new way for citizen to chart government and community.
