The Kenyan Government will use wireless solutions to interconnect villages completing the installation of national optic fibre cable.

While speaking at the Wireless Broadband and VOIP Conference and Exhibition, Information minister Mutahi Kagwe said wireless communication will deliver ICT services to rural Africans, who are not able to access voice or Internet services. The government will take initial funding from private sector to launch this project across the country.
