The Kerala (India) State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco), the retail business arm of the state government is planning to enter into e-Retailing by September, 2007.
Initially, Supplyco will introduce e-Retailing in the city limits of Kochi and later on it would be extended to other major centres of the state. Consumer products and essential items will be delivered at the doorstep as per the orders through the Supplyco website. The customer is required to pay the bill only after receiving the items. There would be no extra charges and home delivery would be free of cost.
