FG, Nigeria to link UCH with 6 health centres via tele medicine network

The Federal Government (FG) of Nigeria said that telemedicine network would link the University College Hospitals (UCH), Ibadan, with other six primary health centres in Nigeria.

Director General and Chief Executive of the National Space and Research Development (NASRDA), Robert Ajayi Boroffice disclosed this at a two-day National media workshop on space and science technology. According to him, the telemedicine network will connect the University College Hospital, Ibadan, and Maiduguri, two medical centres to provide primary health services in various parts of the country through video conferencing. While the tele-education network will link the headquarters of the National Open University in Lagos with twelve study centers in the various parts of the country.
