Pakistan Govt. plans to launch e-Office system

Pakistan Government is planning to launch the e-Office system in next week under the auspices of the e-Government project of the IT department.

The Government is working to promote IT culture in the province. The e-Office system is an important step towards a computerised filling system. Initially the five departments of the Sindh government, including health, education, planning & development, services and general administration and IT departments would be computerised. The system will enable users for file tracking, filing, file movement and its status on computer. The projects like e-Government Sukkur and 'smart budget hotel' in Sukkur will complete in this week.
