Bihar (India) has received national e-Governance award for computerising the budget, treasuries and provident funds in the state.

 

Government of India has awarded Bihar's National Informatics Centre (NIC) with a national award for e-Governance for developing e-Khazana software for computerising the budget, treasuries and provident funds in the state. The Union Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances Department has slected the centre for the award for 'excellence in government process re-engineering'.
