TCS focuses on e-Governance projects

TCS is looking to bag global e-Governance projects and planning to set up satellite development centres across Eastern Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia. According to company's plan, TCS is planning to develop the core application framework in India. The framework would be implemented and serviced by foreign development centers. The company has planned to set up three foreign satellite development centers in Eastern Europe, Latin America and South-East Asia. TCS is eying on e-Governance projects in three areas, intra-government efficiency project, citizen service interface (G2C) and fiscal administration/revenue augmentation. The company is working on series of international projects like treasury system in Columbia, the UK's National Health Service and e-Governance consultancy at Kazakhistan. The company is working with several state governments for e-Governance projects.
