The Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board are introducing electronic bill payment of water in the Tamil Nadu, India.
Customers can make their payments through their credit and debit cards of ICICI and UTI banks. Even customers can also select for the electronic clearance service mode where the amount would be deducted directly from their bank accounts. Customers, who have have creadit and debit cards of these banks can visit water board website hyderabadwater.gov.in and make their payments online. However, ICICI and UTI bank accountholders can opt for the electronic clearance service straightaway without writing to the water board. Once the payment is done the system processes it automatically and gives a transaction document number for further reference According to G.K. Rao, Director, Finance, HMWSSB, now there is no need to pay water bills on water board offices or the e-Seva centres, customers can pay their bill through online also.
