The Madhya Pradesh Transport Department has automated its business workflow processes with the help of Newgen Software Technologies.The project was implemented on a pilot basis in Bhopal which is to be replicated across its 45 road transport offices in the State. This was announced by Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, Newgen Mr. Punit Jain.

Two processes-Vehicle Registration Certificate Issuance and Permit Issuance were rolled out in the pilot phase. The implementation of the other two processes- renewal of registration certificate and Trasfer of ownership- were completed in May. MPTD is the States’s largest revenue earning department and it was having tough time in managing the workflow processes manually.
