Liberal Democrat Peer launches cross-party online conference

Liberal Democrat Peer, Lord (Paul) Tyler, has launched a cross-party online conference which aims to stimulate political debate and engage young people of all political persuasions.

Liberal Democrat Peer, Lord (Paul) Tyler, has launched a cross-party online conference which aims to stimulate political debate and engage young people of all political persuasions.

The conference will use online forums to engage citizens in live dialogue with politicians and with each other, to discuss the proposals of the POWER Inquiry. The first discussions will run from 6th September until 6th October, to coincide with the new school term and the traditional conference season.Citizens of all ages can listen to Paul Tyler’s podcast and watch his online video about on the Taking Power initiative and register to have their say when the conference gets underway in September at http://www.takingpower.org
