Haryana establishing IT enabled citizen services to rural areas

The State of Haryana in India is establishing a communication corridor that would enable Haryana government to take IT enabled citizen services to rural areas of the state, using various e-Governance initiatives and to manage the state government's projects and programmes.

It will also provide backbone for e-Governance programmes and infrastructure for voice, email messaging and video conferencing services. The state-of-the-art network ADHAAR is expected to help the people of the State to get information about transactions being done by various departments of the state, at district and intra district level, as staed by state chief secretary Prem Prashant at the All India Conference of Chief Secretaries on 'Improving Service Delivery and Programme Implementation”. ADHAAR will establish a reliable horizontal and vertical communication corridor besides serving and also as an intranet between various units in the state.
