Kerala bags national honour in e-Governance

Kerala has been selected the second best state in India in the implementation of e-Governance.

Kerala has been selected the second best state in India in the implementation of e-Governance.

The award, instituted by Indiatech Foundation, was announced in the Telecom India 2005 seminar in Mumbai. Kerala's success in e-Governance was in projects such as Akshaya, FRIENDS, computerisation of local self-government institutions, call centres, e-Pay and e-Krishi.
