Sex Determination Techniques, that is, Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PNDT) are used for predicting the sex of an unborn offspring after conception preferably in the first four months of pregnancy. From foetoscopy, ultrasonography, chorionic villus biopsy, to foetal blood sampling, genetic technology has evolved over the last three decades.
