e-Governance is gaining wide currency in India with the Government of India giving it formal acceptance through policy documents, primarily the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), 2006.
Centre has decided to invest INR 20,175 crore for as many as 27 projects under its National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) in the next four years.
