Mohali will soon get a State Data Centre (SDC), one of the key Information Technology infrastructure elements being created in Punjab. It will provide a safe data storage facility. Punjab Information Technology Minister, Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon laid the foundation stone of the INR 12 crore project at Industrial Focal Point, Phase VIII-B, in Mohali.

Fortis Hospital, Mohali, Punjab, set on a sprawling 8.22 acres of land, is the largest Cardiac Care Hospital in the region. The hospital is a 215-bedded cardiac and multi-speciality hospital, and was the first facility of its kind in the region.
