After three long years of agonising wait, India finally announced its much awaited third generation (3G) policy for the telecom players.
Learner’s driving licence test is being computerised in India’s capital city – New Delhi. The system was introduced at the new zonal transport office at Vasant Vihar in south-west Delhi. Transport Minister Haroon Yusuf innaugurated the system.

While addressing a gathering of dignitaries at the VARIndia IT Forum 2008, Chandra Sekhar Sahu, Minister of Rural Development stated that the growth of India can be achieved if government is able to offer employment to the youth in the rural areas, which comprises 70 % of the population.
