TRAI’s effort to improve mobile services

In India, The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has started appointing mobile phone companies on a one-to-one basis to persuade them to develop their services.
Analysing the quality of services by mobile companies for the quarter ending September TRAI found that 51 companies completely met 99 per cent call success rate.TRAI has also found that a large number of companies failed to meet the target of less than one complaint per 1,000 bills. TRAI is expecting an improvement to happen gradually with consistent endeavour by the providers.
