The Government of Punjab has transferred six IAS officers with immediate effect.
Baldeo Purushartha has been appointed as the Secretary, Expenditure (Department of Finance) in addition to Secretary, Governance Reforms and Secretary, Punjab State Governance Reforms Commission.
Arun Sekhri has been appointed as the Special Secretary, Personnel, Vigilance; and Coordination and Protocol.
Indu Malhotra has been posted as the Managing Director of Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation and Punjab State Financial Corporation. She has also been given charge of Special Secretary in NRI Affairs and is also the Commissioner of NRI Affairs.
Tej Pratap Singh Phoolka has been given the charge of Special Secretary, Housing and Urban Development and Special Secretary in Finance department.
He has also been appointed as the Director, Town and Country Planning.
Deepti Uppal has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Amritsar Smart City Limited. She will also be the Chief Administrator, Amritsar Development Authority and Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Amritsar.
Vishesh Sarangal has been appointed as the CEO of Jalandhar Smart City Limited,Chief Administrator of Jalandhar Development Authority and Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Jalandhar.
IRS officer Garima Singh has been posted as the Secretary,Finance.
