Haryana CM ML Khattar likely to release state budget on February 28

As per a tentative schedule issued by the Haryana Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who also heads the state’s finances will present the state Budget for 2020-21 fiscal on February 28, 2020.

According to the schedule, the Budget Session will commence with the Governor’s address. It further states that due to three days holidays the discussion on the Governor’s address will be carried on February 24 to 26, whereas, 27th of the month will be kept for non-official business. A Cabinet meeting will follow the Budget Session in the afternoon on the same day.

Discussions on the Budget will begin on March 2 and will conclude on the following day. The schedule released is tentative and the finalising of the event’s schedule will be done by the Business Advisory Committee of the state’s Vidhan Sabha.
