Punjab Admin Rejig: Punjab Govt transfers 1997-batch IAS, Veerendra Kumar Meena By Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, Confederation of Indian Industry 27-July-2018

transferVeerendra Kumar Meena, Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation and in addition Commissioner, Patiala Division, Patiala has been made Secretary, Higher Education, and Languages.

The 1997-batch IAS officer replaces Harjeet Singh, IAS.

The reshuffle, carried out across the State of Punjab, also includes 100 PCS officers. Several deputy commissioners of districts have been reshuffled along with the change of guard of key departments of the State.
