PSPCL earns Rs 295 crores through online bill payment collection in one day

PSPCLPunjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has collected Rs 295 crores on July 16th, 2018 through online bill payment collection.

Baldev Singh Sran, Chairman and Managing Director, PSPCL  said that more and more people are now paying bills online. PSPCL created history on July 13, when more than Rs 100 crores were collected through online mode.

He added that this could only be possible due to dynamic leadership and continued full support of Chief Minister Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh.  CMD hoped that PSPCL would continue to hit more than century of crores through Digital/RTGS modes in future too.

Sran further added this seems to be the highest digital collection on consecutive days by any power utility at pan India level

He added that with the support, precise guidance and encouragement of Sardar Gurpreet Singh Kangar, Power Minister, Punjab, PSPCL would certainly continue to accomplish more such accolades in future too.

Jatinder Goyal, Director Finance,  said that PSPCL will certainly reach the aspiring target set by A Venu Prasad IAS , Principal Secretary Power, GOP of becoming the number one power utility in digital collection’s category.
