Gurlovleen Singh Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner, Gurdaspur, has been made Director Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes (SCs and BCs).

The reshuffle, carried out across the State of Punjab, also includes 100 PCS officers. Several deputy commissioners of districts have been reshuffled along with the change of guard of key departments of the State.
