Civil Services Prelims scheduled for June 3rd this year

This year’s Civil Services examination will be held on June 3 (Sunday) all over India.

More than 50 per cent of the candidates have already downloaded their e-admit cards from the Commission’s website (https://www.upsc.gov.in).

UPSC has advised candidates to download their admit cards so that last minute rush can be avoided.

Entry to the examination hall will be closed 10 minutes before the official time of the examination i.e 9.30 am.No candidate shall be allowed the entry into the Examination Venue after closure of the entry.

The Candidates should also note that they shall not be allowed to appear at any other Examination Venue except the Examination Venue mentioned in the e-Admit Card.

The candidates who are appearing for the examination have to download the admit card and carry the printout of it as they will not be issued a physical copy.

The annual exam is conducted by UPSC in three stages— preliminary, main and interview — to select officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others.
