Soon, Indian market will be flooded with Internet of Things based (IoT) ceiling fans.
South Korean consumer electronics maker LG will launch these smart fans in India which would automatically adjust its speed according to change in temperature. They can also be controlled from anywhere through cloud computing.
“This year we are preparing to launch ceiling fan. The fans, which are made specially for the Indian market would focus on energy efficiency” and aesthetics designs and would have higher value propositions,” said LG Electronics India Managing Director Ki Wan Kim told.
The fans will have easily detachable parts which can be cleaned and then joined together.
The company is also planning to introduce IoT based products in different segments.
LG’s IoT based washing machines is already a hit in the Indian market.
The company wants to produce energy savung products on a mass scale.
