Rajeev Singh Thakur, 1995-batch IAS officer, Rajasthan, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in Department of Defence for five years. He has replaced Jiwesh Nandan who is 1987-batch IAS officer, Uttar Pradesh cadre.
Ravi Kant, 1986-batch, Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officer, who is currently the Joint Secretary at the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare has been given the charge of Joint Secretary, Department of Defence, on lateral shift basis for five years. Hari Prasad Pudi, 1994-batch, Indian Railway Accounts Service officer, has taken his place as Joint Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare.
Kumar Vinay Pratap 1992-batch, Indian Economic Service (IES) officer has now been posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs for five years.
Kamran Rizvi, 1991-batch IAS officer, Uttar Pradesh cadre, is now the Joint Secretary at the Department of Rural Development, for five years.
Sachin Sinha, 1995-batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre, is now the Joint Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy for five years, replacing Ajay Tirkey, 1987-batch IAS officer, Madhya Pradesh cadre.
