To discuss issues of cooperation in cyber space, a cyber security event-Global Conference on Cyberspace 2017-will be held on 23-24th November.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Conference and will try to enhance the capacity building among participating nations.
The conference will saw the participation of over 2,000 delegates and 50 ministerial delegations from over 100 countries.
The theme of the event is Cyber4All: An Inclusive, Sustainable Developmental, Safe and secure cyberspace.
India will be the second country in Asia- after South Korea, to host the prestigious Global Conference on Cyber Space.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is in touch with Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, Sundar Pichai, the chief executive of Google, Infosys co-founders Nandan Nilekani, N R Narayana Murthy, and Sunil Bharti Mittal of Bharti Airtel and Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Jio on the telco side for the conference.
The first edition of this Conference was held in London in 2011, the second was held in Budapest in 2012, third in Seoul in 2013, and the fourth one was held in Hague in Netherlands.
