Government-citizen relationship transforming dramatically through eGovernance – SN Tripathi

SN-Tripathi

On the occasion of eGov’s historical 150th magazine issue, wishes from SN Tripathi, Additional Secretary , Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises

India is going through a major tax reform through Goods and Services Tax. GST is both – a mission accomplished and work in progress. Through Digital MSME we are trying to make MSMEs afford cloud computing for quick adoption of GST. Through e-Governance, we are dramatically transforming relationship between citizens and Governments. Skill India and Digital India initiatives are other steps in this direction.

eGov has played an important role in creating awareness of eGov initiatives taken by various Governments – State and Central across India. I congratulate eGov for completing 12 years of journey in the service of customers and stakeholders and wish all the best for 150th issue of magazine.

eGov has been documenting initiatives and critically examining the various initiatives as part of its endeavour to create awareness about digitally serving the customers. I wish them good luck and many more successes.
