Defence sector to invest $10 billion in cybersecurity

defenseDefence sector is expected to spend over $10billion on cybersecurity in 2015, focusing on boosting defensive cybersecurity capabilities. The sector will be allocating portion to cyber offensive investments in custom designed malware, military cyber command units, covert surveillance programme and the acquisition of zero day vulnerabilities and exploits, among other measures.

Juniper Networks, CSID, CrowdStrike, Tripwire, EiQ Networks, Hacking Team, Vernit, Cobham, Defense Group, FinFisher, Synack, ReVuln, Core Security among others are some of the prominent players in the segment.
