“Under the scheme, computerised mobile phones would be provided to 20,000 SHG trainers in the first phase at a cost of Rs 15 crore,” the Chief Minister said in the State Assembly.
The SHGs maintain several registers, including those related to meetings, payment of subscription, savings, etc. The phone will help the trainers in supervising work.
