The Noida-Greater Noida expressway these days is heading towards the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS). The Noida Authority has written to the traffic department to include four more road violations being committed by the commuters. In turn, the traffic department will request the authority to get the offences included in the software running in the e-challan system.

One of the officials said that they have asked the traffic department to fine the drivers not wearing seat belts and those who drive in reverse direction along both carriageways of the expressway. Moreover, heavy vehicles with high speed will be fined, along with the vehicles that are parked along the expressway for more than five minutes.

The traffic police have given a positive response regarding the same. Traffic SP RN Mishra said that he will soon request the authority to get the suggested offences included in the software running the e-challan system. In addition to it, they also need to include the violation section under the Motor Vehicles Act (MVA) and the fine amount in their server.
