airtel-new-logoTelecom major Bharti Airtel has received a contract from Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon to launch Wi-Fi services in the Millenium City.

Users will be able to access free internet for the first 30 minutes, afterwards they can buy recharges.

“Airtel has become the preferred partner to provide residents of the Millennium City an opportunity to connect to world-class internet experiences on the move,” Bharti Airtel said in a statement.


The company will soon roll-out the services on MG Road, Sadar Bazaar, Sector 29, Sirhaul Village and Leisure Valley Park. Mobile internet at a speed of 2 megabytes per second (Mbps) will be provided.

“Mobile phones users with Wi-Fi compatible devices in these localities can avail the service with a daily quota limit of 30 minutes per day per device,” it said.


The charges will be announced once the services are rolled out.
