The government launched the website of NITI Aayog – http://www.niti.gov.in.
Dr Arvind Panagariya, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, launched the beta version of the website.
“The beta version of the website be accessed on http://www.niti.gov.in. The final website is under construction and will be updated soon,” a NITI Aayog press release said.
The portal will provide details of various reports, governing coucnil meetings, central and state plans, etc.
The government replaced the Planning Commission with NITI Aayog, which has been mandated to serve as a policy think-tank for the central as well as state governments.
