K D Tripathi, who was recently appointed as the new Petroleum Secretary, would continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary in the Department of Public Enterprises. Tripathi is a 1989 batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre, who was lately named as the new Petroleum Secretary.
An order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said, “The competent authority has approved an additional charge of the post of Secretary, DPE to Kapil Dev Tripathi for a period of three months with immediate effect or until further orders.”
“Tourism Secretary, Lalit K Panwar, has also been given an additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Culture. He will be holding this charge till the date on which Narendra Kumar Sinha assumes the post of Secretary, Ministry of Culture, or for a period of one month, whichever is earlier”, the order further said.
Sinha is a 1980 batch IAS officer. He was lately appointed as Secretary, Culture Ministry, and is currently serving in his cadre, Bihar.
