Bimadhar Pradhan, a 1987 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre has been posted as Advisor, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The Government of India (GoI) has given him relaxation in colling off period that was supposed to complete on December 16 this year. In his last tenure with GoI, Pradhan served as Chief Vigilance Officer, Airports Authority of India, under the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
In his new stint under central deputation as NDMA Advisor, Pradhan will be replacing Anita Bhatnagar. She is a 1985 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre and had completed her central deputation tenure in January 2015.
