Kerala to implement Public Relation System

“Sutharyakeralam’, an e-governance programme, is to implement automation of files related to the petitions being filed before the Chief Minister, within 100 days, informed Kerala Information and PRD minister, K C Joseph.

For activating public relations at the block level, Integrated News Grids developed from ‘Public Relation Information and Service Management (PRISM)’ will also be implemented.

The Minister further informed that a state-level Information hub will be opened in Thiruvananthapuram. It will provide information regarding the programmes of the central and state governments.

Other things in the pipeline are a proposed media city in Trivandrum and a new branch of Indian Institute of Mass communication in Kottayam. Cybersree sub -center will be opened in Haripad. Also hologram printing and security printing system will be upgraded to global standards under C-DIT.

Henceforth, the services being provided to mediapersons and newspaper establishments will be provided online. Tasks like accreditation, pension and advertisement amount will be done online.
