Maharashtra launches book on e-Governance

The book highlights the various policies and decisions taken by the Maharashtra Government and pioneering work done in e-Governance

644209_485897538140323_898539278_nMumbai: The Directorate of IT of Government of Maharashtra recently released a landmark publication titled “Status of e-Governance in Maharashtra”. The book was launched by Maharashtra Chief Secretary Jayant Banthia.

The book highlights the various policies and decisions taken by the Maharashtra Government. It contains details of more than 300 projects being undertaken by the State and some of the pioneering work done in e-Governance under the leadership of IT Secretary Rajesh Aggarwal.

The book is available on the Maharashtra Government’s official website: https://www.maharashtra.gov.in/Site/Home/Index.aspx. The book can be downloaded at no cost.

The book launch is a landmark moment for the State Government as this shall act as a repository of information and best practices for rest of the country to drive e-Governance in a planned manner.
