IIM-I Starts eGov Programme from Jan

The Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) will start a new batch of its e-governance program from January. The registration process will be closed in November. IIM-I is one of the few IIMs that offers e-governance program to students. It is a fully residential programme and called Executive Post Graduate Programme in e-Governance (EPGP- EG). It is supported by the National Institute of Smart Government (NISG) and Department of Information Technology (DIT), Government of India.

The institute has invited applications from candidates before November 24. IIM-I offers EPGP-EG in four phases- foundation courses in management and e-governance (two terms), specialised courses (one term), internship and finishing school. EPGP-EG is a part of IIM-I’s executive programme and those with a bachelor’s degree and two year’s work experience will be eligible for this course. Officials said that a maximum of 50 candidates will be taken in the new batch. The scheduled course duration is 48 weeks, in which selected candidates will be on campus for 25 weeks and will be spending 21 weeks interning with organisations operating on this domain The batch is slated to commence from January 21.
