In a bid to make it easier for customers to locate its nearest branch or ATM, IDBI Bank has begun geotagging such locations. Using a simple application hosted on the bank’s website customers can now accurately locate IDBI Bank branches and ATMs on Google Maps across India and UAE.

This search facility available on the bank’s website will help the customers of the bank to get the location, facilities available within the branch, direction on how to reach the particular branch (map and milestone description). According to the bank’s officials, the new facility will add to the customers’ seamless experience with the bank.

“As a customer focused bank, we are constantly innovating to ensure that our services reach out to as many people as possible in a way that makes it convenient for them to bank with us. This is a key initiative taken towards ensuring that banking with IDBI Bank is a convenient and hassle free experience,” said R.M. Malla, CMD, IDBI Bank Ltd. Currently IDBI Bank has over 998 branches and a network of 1592 ATMs across India and abroad.
