Aadhar project has been officially launched by UIDAI in Gujarat, with the officials taking biometric fingerprints of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

R S Sharma, Director General of the Government of India’s UID project, took the biometric fingerprints of Narendra Modi for his identity card and registered him under the project.

The Chief Minister expressed the state government’s commitment for the execution of the project stating that it would benefit the people in many ways.


Earlier it had been reported that Transline Technologies has been able to secure orders from the Gujrat government for enrollment for generation of Aadhaar numbers.
