In a bid to maintain transparency and check discrepancy in the recruitment process, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to conduct online examination for the recruitment of patwaris (village development officers) in several districts across the state.
The examination will be conducted for filling 2,790 vacant seats at district levels which were not filled due to inefficiencies in the online recruitment process conducted by the Professional Examination Board three years ago.
The state Cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday approved the recruitment of the applicants in the merit list through online examination and set up of appointment committee under the chairmanship of District Collectors in various districts.
